Gilat launches the next generation of the satellite terminal family

The capabilities of the Aquarius VSAT, combined with Gilat’s vast experience in satellite (patented) cellular transmission technology, are becoming a solution chosen by cellular network operators (MNOs) to deliver a true 5G satellite satellite experience to their customers.

In addition, the Aquarius family is designed to provide continuous service, and to support next-generation software-based satellites in satellite arrays in GEO and NGSO orbits. Aquarius enables continuous operation, in “connection before disconnection”, using standard antenna management interfaces, which are especially important for LEO arrays that require frequent switching between satellites.
