The number of corona patients at the ICs has fluctuated between 500 and 550 for about two weeks. Hospitals admitted 176 new patients last 24 hours, 44 fewer than on Friday. Twenty of them have been admitted to intensive care, the same number as the day before. According to the LCPS, Covid hospital occupancy follows a predominantly downward trend. “We expect this to continue this week.”

There is, however, a slight increase in the average number of hospital admissions compared to last week. “That is why we are closely following developments regarding the British variant, as its emergence in the coming weeks could lead to a stronger increase in the number of infections and hospital admissions,” the LCPS said.

The number of corona patients on the ic follows a slightly decreasing trend. In order to properly spread the number of admissions across the country, the LCPS has relocated fifteen patients in the past 24 hours, three of which are on the ic.
