A black hole found 1000 light years from Earth
A black hole was detected at a distance of 1000 light years from the earth. It is stated that the black hole is at the closest point to Earth so far.
WALL – It is stated that astronomers have detected a black hole 1000 light years from Earth.
In the study published in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics, it is noted that there are 2 stars of the black hole, 2 times the size of the Sun, visible from the Southern Hemisphere in the open air with the naked eye.
In the study, it was stated that astronomers, who observed that one of the stars in question completed the orbit of a hidden object in 40 Earth days, discovered that this was not just a double star system, but a triple system with a black hole.
Astronomers pointed out that the black hole, which is the closest point to Earth so far, is made up of a mass of stars that does not interact violently with its environment for the first time.
In recent years, astronomers have announced that they have found a dozen black holes in the Milky Way galaxy, where they locate their places due to their destructive, violent interactions with their surroundings and emitting detectable X-rays.
It has been noted that work on the recently discovered black hole was carried out at the La Silla Observatory in Chile. (AA)
