Ahmed al-Mismari, a spokesman for the armed group named Libya National Army, which is connected to the leader of the illegitimate armed forces in the east of Libya, claimed that they declared a unilateral ceasefire during the month of Ramadan.

Mismari announced at their press conference that they responded to international calls during the month of Ramadan and that they had ceased all military operations and declared a ceasefire.

Defending that they have the right to respond to any military step, Mismari claimed that they did not give up their military targets in the country.

A few hours before Mismari’s statement, 1 health worker was killed and 6 officers were wounded in a rocket attack carried out by the militia affiliated to Khafter to the military health institution in the capital, Tripoli. Similarly, the missiles and mortars fired by the militia affiliated to Khafter into the city of Msallata, south of the capital Tripoli, caused a fire here in the “Nature Reserve”.
