a a A A red color alarm sounded Saturday night in the city of Sderot and the Gaza Strip. The IDF has confirmed that one of the Gaza missiles was detected at Israel.

An IDF spokesman said: “Following a warning report, one of the Gaza Strip missiles was identified with Israeli territory.”

IDF Spokesman continued: “IDF aircraft and tank shortly attacked military positions and infrastructure used for underground activity of Hamas terror organization in northern Gaza. The attacks were carried out in response to rocket fire from Gaza to Israeli territory, earlier this evening”.

Spokesman Sha’ar Hanegev said: “Following the alarm that was heard a short time ago in the Sha’ar Negev area – a fall was apparently detected in an open area. There were no injuries to the body and no damage to property.”

Recalling the end of the last round of fighting in the Gaza Strip, the spokesman for the Islamic Jihad’s military wing, Abu Hamza, said: “This is not the last round with the occupation. All resistance activities, everywhere and at all times, are legal and rely on popular support and consensus among the resistance.”
