Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is considering issuing an order to allow Israeli citizens to leave their homes only for workplaces, pharmacies, supermarkets and medical care.
In News 12, it was reported that the Ministry of Health’s guidelines would be backed by an order and if someone violated them, fines would be imposed on it.
The relevant government ministries are working on the wording of the order: if it is ready in the coming hours, the prime minister will announce it later this evening. Objective: To avoid the need for a total closure that will harm the economy.
The Employment Service figures show that 368,000 Israelis were fired from their jobs or went on a ‘free leave’ period from the beginning of March. According to the data, between 5,000 and 6,000 employees turn to the employment service every hour.
As of tonight, 529 Corona patients were diagnosed in Israel. Among the patients, six were in serious condition, 13 were in moderate condition, 498 were in mild condition, and 12 were recovering.
