We saw Charlie Cox as Daredevil the last time in the third season of the series on Netflix. Although there are countless petitions that want the actor to return to the role of the Man Without Fear, Marvel Studios have not yet commented on the hypothetical return of the character to a new series or a hypothetical film since the cancellation of the series. There are remote possibilities for the character to return with the same face, however the rights of those characters are still in the hands of Netflix and the streaming platform will hold them for at least two more years. Last year, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige spoke briefly about the characters Netflix owns the rights to.
“I do not know. There were a lot of great characters who were in those Netflix series, and I think there is a period of time … it will take a while before I can use any of them based on the contract that was there, so I’m not sure. And then, even just answering this question would be a spoiler, but there are some of the greatest Marvel characters. ”
The third film of Spider-Man still untitled is scheduled for July 16, 2021.
