A shock of magnitude 3.3 was recorded at 5.49 in the morning of Friday 20 March from the seismic room of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology in the Macerata area, in the area hard hit by the strong 2016 earthquake. Epicenter identified in the area of Monte Cavallo and Aschio . Fear between Castel Sant’Angelo sul Nera and Pieve Torina, where many were awakened by tremors, which however lasted only a few moments. The shock was felt up to Camerino and in Perugia, between Foligno and Trevi. There is no damage to things or people.
Already on February 28th the earth had returned to tremble in the Marche region, with a shock of magnitude 2.6 on the Richeter scale with an epicenter 6 kilometers from Ancona, also on this occasion without damage to things or people.
