At the end of a seven-hour debate, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed a dramatic increase in enforcement of traffic restrictions in order to reduce contact and prevent the continued spread of the Corona virus.
Netanyahu also ordered the drafting of a resolution to tighten traffic restrictions, except for work, food, medicines, essential products and other exceptional cases.
The instructions on getting to work have not changed at this time. In case there is an update to the guidelines – time will be given for organizing.
The possibility of stocking food, medicines and essential products will not be limited even after the decision is approved.
In addition, to the economic team, which will tomorrow (Tuesday) introduce the massive assistance program for self-employed and business self-employed, Netanyahu directed the establishment of a team to further increase the screening for patients and another team to survey the population as a whole.

Today, the number of patients has increased to 1,238 people, of whom 24 are in serious condition. An additional 34 patients are in moderate condition and the remainder mild. According to the Ministry of Health, 167 new patients were diagnosed.
The Ministry of Health noted that 464 of the minor patients were admitted to their homes, along with 120 other patients who were admitted to the Corona’s designated hotels. The number of people staying in home isolation these days is 74,498.
