After the 5-0 victory of his Willem II over Progrés Niederkorn, Jordens Peters spoke to the press with a big smile. The captain of the Tricolores acknowledged that the game in the preliminary round of the Europa League stirred up the players.

In the final phase of the match, when the final score had already been reached long and wide, Willem II took a step back to save himself for the matches to come. “That is also new to me”, Peters grins in front of the camera RTL7. “Those European matches and weeks are a bit different than normal. There is just a bit more tension on the muscles.”

The Tilburg team will probably play against Rangers in the next round, although the Scots still have to deal with Lincoln from Gibraltar. “You know that you are going to have a very nice poster, so our objective was clear”, says Peters. “I am proud of the boys. I like to get used to this kind of weeks, now just reminisce on the bus and then straight away again.”
