Neymar was sent off the field on Sunday evening, just like four other players, in the end of the lost game against OM. The attacker had just hit Marseille defender Alvaro Gonzalez for calling him a “monkey”. That possible racist incident will still be investigated, but Neymar will be effectively suspended for two matches anyway.
Teammate Layvin Kurzawa was suspended for six matches, Leandro Paredes, also from PSG, has to watch three games, one of which is suspended. Jordan Amavi (three duels) and Dario Benedetto (three duels, one of which is conditional) were suspended at Marseille.
The Argentinian Angel di Maria also has yet to appear before the Disciplinary Commission. He is now accused of spitting at Alvaro in the same tumultuous match.
