With a potential market of about 2.5 billion gamers worldwide, the new collaboration between ASUS and IKEA is trying to provide home furniture solutions designed for the gaming market, in order to improve the gaming experience and lifestyle of gamers on a daily basis. This is a fairly large collaboration compared to similar collaborations, such as the Embody gaming chair developed in collaboration between Logitech and furniture maker Herman Miller, while currently the ROG brand of ASUS and IKEA are expected to introduce about 30 different products to gamers.
While the two companies did not specify which products they plan to launch jointly, the main idea behind the new product line is to create “affordable” furniture solutions with a competitive and relatively low price for the global gaming audience, which will be available to the wider audience and not as “luxury” solutions.
