The Binyamin Regional Council will continue its cooperation with the Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv Basketball Club in 1951. As part of the project, which continues for the third year in a row, basketball schools are operating throughout the council, led by the sports department at Matans Binyamin. The council’s children will learn the basics of basketball along with professional and mental guidance from Maccabi Tel Aviv, entry to home games (subject to the approval of an audience during the Corona period) and visits by faculty and professional staff with an emphasis on joint training and meetings with the community.
In addition, this year the Benjamin and Maccabi Tel Aviv Council will hold a special tournament as part of the “Academic Euroleague” under the auspices of the official Euroleague league. The tournament takes place in 7 countries in Europe, in which groups of children in fourth grades compete.
The children will receive special costumes from the Euroleague when Benjamin was represented by 2 teams and the newcomer will even go on to the next stage. The tournament organizers even worked to allow Benjamin’s children to compete and host the tournament that was supposed to take place on Saturday, and it was moved to Friday.
Also, with the return of the crowd to the plots the cooperation where the residents of the council will receive will be renewed Tickets for Maccabi Tel Aviv’s league and Euroleague games. Tickets will be distributed every game between the outstanding children in the basketball departments, soldiers and reservists from across Benjamin.
