Hapoel Kfar Saba is gearing up in preparation for the 2020/21 season, and as reported on the sports channel, the Greens went out today (Sunday) to a training camp in the neighboring city, Raanana. This is a short training camp of four nights that they will spend at a hotel in Raanana, while the team’s training will continue to take place at Levita Stadium.

In the planning, coach Amir Turgeman will hold two training sessions a day for his players, with a training match against Bnei Sakhnin on Tuesday and will serve as the final preparation game for the first round of the Toto Cup, when the Greens will be hosted on Saturday at the Diamond Stadium to meet Maccabi Netanya.

interpreter He said of the preparations: “We are going to a short and unusual camp because of the situation we are in and the ban on traveling to the camp abroad. The main goal is formation between the players, the team and better acquaintance between all the factors. At the same time, we will increase the pace of training, which will be more intense. We will work on concentrating and refining the goals for the coming season and we will want to continue the end of last season. ”

The squad that goes out to the camp consists of the skeleton of last season’s players such as Omar Padida, Tal Makhlouf, Tom Shelach, Ben Reichert and Aviv Solomon, along with new acquisitions such as George Puchiba, Maor Jersey, Matan Zalmanovich and Omar Brami.

Also, the club continues to look for additional reinforcement players for Turgeman’s squad, with the goal being to add two to three players. The coach explained: “The whole system is working very hard to strengthen. Both in the Israeli sector and in the foreign sector. We will not bring in players to thicken the staff, but only to upgrade it.”
