Bnei Herzliya announced today (Sunday) that the Israeli forward, Isaiah Eisendorf (24, 1.98), will continue to play in its ranks in the 2020/21 season, when he is loaned to the team from Hapoel Tel Aviv in the coming season. Eisendorf joined Herzliya with the start of the 2019/20 season and helped the team qualify for the Premier League with an average of 11.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, being 37% accurate with shots from outside the arc.

Eisendorf began his professional playing career in the 2018/19 season when he joined Hapoel Haifa in the media, recording 9.8 points and 6.1 rebounds per game in the National League. He finished his college career in La Moyne in the 2017/18 season, with 11.5 points per game and 5.5 rebounds and won the title of Outstanding Player of the Conference Tournament. In addition, he was selected to the second five of the regular season.

The team coach, Sharon Drucker: “Glad that Isaiah continues in the team, he is a dedicated and positive player who knows the system and will help us in the coming season.” Eisendorf: “I am very happy to stay in Bnei Herzliya. Last season I did everything to help the club qualify for the Premier League, and I am happy that after helping the team meet the goal, I continue here in the Premier League. I have a special connection with the community in the city, and I am excited for cooperation with Sharon “Drucker. I will continue to work hard and do my best to contribute to the team with the goal of having a successful and enjoyable season.”


The National League also has news about the signings. Hapoel Galil Elyon announced the signing and return of Omar Tal (27, 1.92). The player returns after playing for the team in 2013-2015. In his last season, he was a partner in Hapoel Haifa’s promotion to the Premier League, due to the early end of the season. He provided 10.9 points, 3.7 assists and 2.7 rebounds in the 23 rounds played.

Tal told the audience: “I am excited to return to where my career began, and I am happy to be part of one of the most glorious clubs in the country again. I wish us a healthy, fun season and that Upper Galilee will recreate its beautiful days.”
