Public broadcaster VRT and rights holder Eleven Sports have reached an agreement on some lots of the Jupiler Pro League. The rights to the Monday evening magazine Extra Time remain unchanged, so the football talk show on Canvas can start its twelfth season.

Furthermore, Sporza will be able to continue to broadcast live reports of the games in the Pro League on Radio 1. Every match day Sporza will be able to bring clips on Sunday evening via the digital channels (sporza.be and the sporza apps) containing the highlights of the match day. Furthermore, VRT also acquired the rights to the highlights of the ‘Women’s Super League’, the highest league in women’s football ”, it says in the announcement.

As for the live broadcasts of the matches, there are already agreements between Eleven, Orange and Proximus. Negotiations with Telenet have been going on for weeks, while the competition will already be kicked off on Saturday with the game between national champions Club Brugge and Sporting Charleroi.
