In the French stage race Route d’Occitanie, Chris Froome was yelled again yesterday. The four-time Tour winner was unable to act and reacted back in French.
Chris Froome had completely cut himself off from teammate Bernal on the final climb yesterday and then had to release the role in the group of favorites.
When the four-time Tour winner rose up with the Frenchman Bruno Armirail (Groupama-FDJ), some French spectators treated Froome to shouting.
But fans were surprised when the Brit turned around and gave them a cookie of their own. “Va chier, connard,” de Froome called to them. Froome received much support for his reaction on social media.
