Two corona infections at NAC put an abrupt end to training camp in Oudenbosch

After Willem II, rival NAC also has two corona infections within the ranks. For that reason, the Breda first division club has decided to terminate the training camp in Oudenbosch immediately. That was announced on Saturday evening.

In the run-up to Sunday’s practice game between NAC and FC Dordrecht, the entire selection and technical staff were tested for the corona virus. Two people were found to have the virus. For reasons of privacy, NAC does not disclose who these are. The result is that the planned preparation match against Dordrecht is canceled. The positive tests also ensure an abrupt end to the NAC training camp in Oudenbosch.

Football clubs regularly have players and technical staff tested for the virus. This resulted in several positive results in recent weeks. Willem II player Elton Kabangu, for example, has been in home quarantine since July 28 and a second corona infection was diagnosed at the Tilburg club on Saturday. This put an end to the practice match against IJsselmeervogels.
