Trailer: New gameplay footage of Cyberpunk 2077

The second episode of Night City Wire has started tonight. In this live event, developer CD Projekt Red showed new gameplay footage from Cyberpunk 2077.

New details of Cyberpunk 2077 have been released tonight at 6:00 PM during Night City Wire. The first gameplay footage revolved around the backstories of the three characters you can choose at the start of the game. As a Street Kid you are already used to the outdoors in Night City, while as a Nomad you have yet to reach Night City. A Nomad again has the advantage of being known in the Badlands, the desert area of Cyberpunk 2077. As a Corporate you are also familiar with Night City, but in business. Each backstory affects gameplay, the characters you meet, and the dialogue options. During this episode there is also told more about the music in Cyberpunk, which was made in collaboration with the Swedish band Refused. In the game, their music is played by the fictional band Samurai with Johnny Silverhand as the front man. The event concluded with additional gameplay footage focusing on in-game weapon use. You have different categories of weapons, such as the Power Weapons, Tech Weapons and Smart Weapons, each of which has its own advantage. You can also upgrade firearms with attachments and software mods.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC. When the next-gen consoles are released, Cyberpunk 2077 will also be playable on them.

About the author Celine Man

Some people play a game and can put it away again. However, Celine cannot. No no, Celine thinks about it, puts it away for a while and then writes a whole philosophical thesis about it. It is therefore not very surprising that Celine studies philosophy. However, the sky is the limit, because she will one day apply that philosophy to Artificial Intelligence and video game design. Celine is where Skynet originated.
