Three more Knesset members are required to go into solitary confinement after staying in the company of Minister Rafi Peretz, who was found positive for the virus.

Following Minister Rafi Peretz’s infection with the corona virus, a number of ministers who were in his area during last week’s cabinet meeting are now also required to go into week-long isolation.

The Knesset announced today (Sunday) that after an investigation conducted by representatives of the Ministry of Health, it appears that the ministers: Zeev Elkin, Yaakov Avitan, Orly Levy Abacis and a number of their advisers were required to go into domestic isolation in light of their exposure to Minister Rafi Peretz.

The person who was exposed to Minister Peretz but will not go into isolation is Minister Yaakov Litzman.

These ministers join three other Knesset members who are in solitary confinement, Minister Eli Cohen and MKs Avi Dichter and Osnat Mark who were exposed to a Corona patient in the Knesset. It is still unclear whether the absence of seven coalition members will prevent some of the expected Knesset legislation next week.
