The tweet that betrayed: Will Gregor return from retirement again?

Admit it, you will not be surprised if we tell you that Conor Gregor is on his way back to the arena? At least that’s how it looks, according to his tweet, which of course excited UFC fans.

For those who have forgotten, the 31-year-old Irish fighter announced last June his retirement from the industry just minutes after the end of the main fight in UFC 250 in which Amanda Nunez retained her title. Only now, at least it seems, he has regretted it again.

Will he retire again? From Gregor

MMA fighter Kamzat Khimab, who won two fights last month, tagged UFC President Dana White in his tweet asking him to fight one of the biggest names in the industry. Among others, Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal and Gregor were also tagged. And who responded to the tweet? You guessed it, the Irishman, who responded: “I agree.” Himab then tweeted to him again: “Pray for this” and Gregor replied, “I agree.”

Well, no one fell off the chair. The announcement of retirement last June was particularly bizarre, as at UFC 249, in January, McGregor defeated Donald “Cowboy” Sarona in 40 seconds and even claimed several times that he wanted a rematch against Habib Normgomedov. May even agreed to fight Anderson Silva. In addition, he invited Justin Gigi to fight for the lightweight title and even claimed that he would “eliminate” him in the Octagon.

McGregor, as of this moment, with a 4:22 career balance, but the truth is that this is not the first time he has, if and when, “returns from retirement.” Last year he did a similar thing in a hallucinatory series of tweets until he decided to go back on it.
