The number of active patients as of this morning, stands at 26,260. The number of respirators continues to rise and now stands at 100 patients in need of a respirator – an increase of one patient in the number of respirators since last night – out of 319 patients in critical condition hospitalized. Four more Corona patients have died since last night, so the death toll stands at 509. 43,813 patients have so far recovered from the virus. It should be noted that the sharp decline in the number of active patients is due to the release of thousands of patients from the obligation of isolation, following the new procedures of the Ministry of Health.
This morning it was reported that in the corona ward of the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, the morning was determined the death of a 46-year-old man, a resident of one of the villages in the Galilee, who was brought to the ward in critical condition with background illnesses. This is the second death in the Corona ward within a few hours.
According to data from the IDF’s Information and Knowledge Center, there are currently 2,159 active patients in the city of Bnei Brak, compared to 1,050 new patients in the last week alone. In the city of Jerusalem 4,037 active patients, of whom 2,115 were diagnosed last week.
As of last night, there are 596 active patients in Beitar Illit, 278 of them in the last seven days. The city of Beit Shemesh with 858 active patients, with 448 patients added during the last week.
The city of Modi’in Illit with 627 active patients as of last night at midnight. In the past week, 354 new ones have been diagnosed across the city. In Ashdod, which has some of its ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods under restrictions, 731 active patients were diagnosed, 374 patients in the last seven days alone.
