The Kuwaiti ambassador to Ukraine today visited the grave of Rabbi Nachman of Breslav. The ambassador comes from a country that has no diplomatic relations with Israel, and is considered a country that is regularly hostile to Israel in the UN corridors, and does not even board Israeli aircraft with foreign citizenship.
The ambassador arrived at the scene accompanied by the local activists, Haim Hazin, and Shlomi Elisha. He said that he had heard about the place a lot, and wanted to see what it was about, in addition he said that he came looking for a kosher restaurant, since Muslims can eat kosher meat, the Jewish slaughter is considered kosher according to Islam.
Recently, relations between Kuwait and Ukraine have warmed. Kuwait’s Ambassador to Ukraine praised Ukraine’s decision to facilitate the issuance of visas to Kuwait citizens, stressing that this step would not only strengthen close cooperation at the political level, but would also greatly encourage the establishment of direct trade ties and the development of tourism and cultural cooperation.
