Kuwait Ambassador to Ukraine Rashid Hemed al-Adwani visited the city of Uman, met with clerics and also visited the tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslav.
The ambassador comes from a country that has no diplomatic relations with Israel and is considered a country that is regularly hostile to Israel in the UN corridors.
The website “Behadrei Haredim” reported that the ambassador arrived at the scene accompanied by local activists, and told them that he had heard a lot about Rabbi Nachman’s tomb and wanted to see what it was all about.
He also said that he was looking for a kosher restaurant. Since Muslims can eat kosher meat, Jewish slaughter is considered kosher according to Islam.
