Strade Bianche bicycles stolen from women’s team Trek-Segafredo

Not a pleasant start to the day for the Trek-Segafredo women’s team. Last night, six racing bikes were found to have been stolen on which the riders would finish Strade Bianche today. They are now forced to start on spare bicycles.
Trek-Segafredo reported the unpleasant news this morning through her social media. “A bad start to the day for the team in Italy. Six Trek team women’s Emonda road bikes were stolen overnight. The thieves broke into the roof of the truck and took the bikes with them. The riders therefore ride Strade Bianche on spare bicycles. ”
The team has an important contender in house with Elisa Longo Borghini. The Italian already managed to win the white road race. In addition, they can also count on the strength of the collective at Trek-Segafredo, including Ellen van Dijk, Lucinda Brand and former winner Lizzie Deignan.
