Stekelenburg: ‘Nothing has been agreed with me on this’

Maarten Stekelenburg has not made any agreements with Ajax about what should be done in the event of André Onana’s possible departure. The latter is in the interest of several European top clubs and could therefore make a transfer this summer.

It remains to be seen what will happen to Stekelenburg when Onana leaves. “Nothing has been agreed with me on that. I see it ‘, the experienced goalkeeper told The Telegraph. Ajax coach Erik ten Hag previously announced that when Onana leaves, Ajax will enter the market for a new keeper.

Stekelenburg recently returned to Ajax after nine years and in the meantime a lot has changed in Amsterdam. “It feels familiar, but many things have changed. The buildings are different and so are the group. Of this selection I have only played with Daley Blind and Klaas Jan Huntelaar and I have experienced Donny van de Beek at Orange, but I will have to get to know the rest. ”
