Manchester United says goodbye to Alexis Sanchez. The English sell the attacker to Internazionale, for which he had been playing on a rental basis for a year.
In conversation with Sky Sports, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had a goodbye word for Sanchez ready. “I can confirm that both sides have reached an agreement. Alexis enjoyed his time in Milan. They were happy with him, so of course this is an excellent move for him. I sincerely wish him all the best.” Solskjaer is still convinced of Sanchez’s qualities. “He’s an excellent professional that we want to see in his best form. For some reason we haven’t seen him at his best at Manchester United. But he’s a top player in the end.”
The Chilean won with Internazionale against Getafe on Wednesday-evening, which means that the club has advanced to the next round of the Europa League. The games will be played over one game, so three wins are required to be in the final of the European tournament.
