Second drowning case in two days: A 16-year-old boy drowned in Haifa


Last night (Sunday), the Israel Police launched a search in the Dado Beach area of ​​Haifa for a 16-year-old boy, after receiving a report from his friends who came with him from Jenin, that their friend had gone to bathe in the sea and had not yet left. As part of the search, which included the operation of a helicopter and searches along the shoreline by the station police, the naval police and the police jeep unit, the boy was found lifeless on the beach this morning. The boy’s body was transferred for further identification at the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

Nathaniel Peretz, an MDA paramedic who took part in the resuscitation attempts, said: We performed medical tests but he was without signs of life and we have no choice but to determine his death. ”

Yesterday morning, MDA forces arrived to treat the child, a resident of East Jerusalem, who was pulled from the water after drowning near Dugit Beach on the Sea of ​​Galilee. In the morning, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
