The weather today (Saturday) is expected to be warmer than usual, but there will be a slight decrease in temperatures compared to recent days, especially in the mountains and inland. The coastal plain will be steamed. Some relief in heat loads is expected, but they will still be higher than normal.

Predicted temperatures for day and night: Kiryat Shmona 22-37, Katzrin 20-35, Safed 19-32, Tiberias 23-40, Nazareth 20-33, Haifa 25-31, Tel Aviv 25-31, Jerusalem 20-33, Ashkelon 25 -31, Ein Gedi 30-42, Beer Sheva 21-36, Arad 20-34, Mitzpe Ramon 20-33, Eilat 29-41.

The Meteo-Tech forecasting center said that a shallow seasonal channel over our area causes relief from heat loads. The wind in the Mediterranean will be southwest to northwest and will blow with a strength of 35-15 km / h. The height of the waves will range from 80-160 cm.

The mountains are expected to have a moderate heat load, and heavy heat load will prevail in all other areas.

From this weekend until August 19, the Nature and Parks Authority and the Ministry of Environmental Protection will operate about 20 information and information stations in the desired hiking areas. The stations will be staffed by guides from the Nature and Parks Authority in order to give hikers recommendations and information on hiking trails, nature values, scenery and heritage in the area, as well as the rules of the safe hike. Tomorrow, Sunday, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear, with temperatures dropping slightly, mostly in the mountains. There will be relief in the heat loads that will be close to the average for the period. Monday will be partly cloudy to clear, and temperatures will be normal for the season. No real change is expected on Tuesday either.
