In the capital Minsk, thousands of protesters again took to the streets on Saturday to protest against the re-election of authoritarian president Aleksandr Lukashenko, a reporter from the French news agency AFP has stated.
Thousands of people gathered around the subway station Pushkinskaya west of the city center. With flowers, candles and a minute of silence, they paid tribute to a demonstrator who had been killed nearby on Monday.
