This coming Friday, August 14, 20, there will be one-time changes in train traffic in the Lod, Beit Shemesh, Rishon LeZion and the south area due to upgrade and development works in Lod

As part of the annual maintenance plan, infrastructure works will be carried out for the maintenance, upgrade and replacement of rail components in the Lod area.
Due to this, on Friday, August 14, 2020, from 00:01 (the night between Thursday and Friday), and until the end of the service on this day (Friday), no trains will be operated on the lines:
Beer Sheva-Tel Aviv Savidor Center (passing through the stations of Kiryat Gat, Lehavim Rahat, Lod, etc.).
Beit Shemesh-Lod.
Rishon LeZion – Lod.
Rehovot-Lod.

Lehavim Rahat, Kiryat Gat, Kiryat Malachi Yoav, Mazkeret Batya, Ramla, Lod, Lod Ganei Aviv, Kfar Chabad, Yavneh East, Beer Yaakov, Rehovot, Rishon Lezion Harishonim, Beit Shemesh – will be closed for service.

Train traffic will return to normal on Saturday evening 15.8.20 with the resumption of service.

To remind you – due to works to electrify the tracks, there are changes in train traffic every Friday and Saturday night on the Beer Sheva-Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan-Rosh HaAyin line (the western Negev line), and it is operated between Beer Sheva and Ashkelon stations only. During the working days, Ashdod Ad Halom, Yavne West, Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan, Bat Yam and Holon stations are closed for service.

Also due to works for the maintenance and upgrade of the track in the Dimona area, from Friday, August 14, 20 until Sunday, August 23, 20, passenger trains will not operate between Dimona and Beer Sheva North stations.
