At PEC Zwolle, someone has also tested positive for the coronavirus. It is a member of the medical staff, who has no symptoms or complaints.

PEC writes on its own website on Saturday that the most effective person is struggling with a very low virus level. Several experts have been consulted and this seems to fit a bit of virus from an infection he had in March.

A new nose and throat test that was taken from him on Friday had a negative result on Saturday. After the test, there was no contact between him and other people within the club. He immediately went into home quarantine.

PEC is already the fifth Dutch professional club to report a positive corona test. Previously, ADO Den Haag (player and employee), Jong AZ (player and staff member), Vitesse (attacker Hilary Gong) and Willem II (player) already did that.

In addition, on Friday the practice game between PSV and the amateurs of UNA was canceled at the last minute because an UNA player received a call an hour before kick-off that he was infected with COVID-19.

The teams from the Eredivisie and Keuken Kampioen Divisie are preparing for the start of the competition in the weekend of September 12 and 13 and August 28 respectively. There is a lot of mutual practice this month.
