Oz Blazer (27, 1.99 m) will play for Maccabi Tel Aviv next season. Both sides negotiated, summed up the details and Blazer signed his contract in the ranks of the champion.
Blazer, a player for the Israeli national team, has played for Maccabi Rishon Lezion for the past two years and reached the playoff finals twice in a row, in both of which they lost to the Yellows.
The champion decided to give up Roman Sorkin and not offer him a higher amount, after he refused to sign the contract offered to him. In fact, Maccabi dropped out of Sorkin after his transfer from Maccabi Haifa had already been agreed.
The Rishon Lezion forward signed for one season with an option for another season. This season he recorded 33 league games, in which he provided 7.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists, he also added 1.2 steals and an index of 8.5. In the playoffs he slightly upgraded the numbers to 8.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
