After Oppo previously announced the Reno 4 series for the Chinese market, the mid-range smartphones have now been introduced for the rest of the world. There are some differences between the Chinese variant and the international variant.
The new series consists of the Reno 4 and the Reno 4 Pro, two powerful mid-range smartphones. The Reno 4 Pro features a 6.5-inch 90Hz AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a small notch for the selfie camera. The Reno 4 has a 6.4-inch screen with a larger notch for a dual selfie camera. Both devices have an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Internally, we find a Snapdragon 720G chipset with 5G support, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Reno 4 has a 4015 mAh battery with support for 30 watt fast charging and the Reno 4 Pro has a 4000 mAh battery with support for Super VOOC 4 65 watt fast charging.
On the back we find on both devices a 48MP main lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth lens. The Reno 4 Pro has a 32MP selfie camera while the Reno 4 has a 2MP depth lens in addition to the same selfie camera.
The Oppo Reno 4 series is available in the colors Starry Night and Silky White. The European release date and Euro prices have not yet been announced.
