One-three gives Ajax player of the outside category: ‘Otherwise immediately to top club’

Ajax owes Antony’s transfer to the excellent contacts in Brazil. The attacker is coming one-three between director of football affairs Marc Overmars, football broker Julio Taran and Revien Kanhai of Forza Sports Group, De Telegraaf reports.

Ajax pays a minimum of 15.75 million and a maximum of 21.75 million for Antony. “Ajax had been trying to get Antony for some time,” said Kanhai, who indicated to Overmars that he could play a crucial role via Bertolucci, in the morning newspaper. “We could reach an agreement between São Paulo and Ajax. It worked. And because Antony wanted to go to Ajax, a personal agreement by Ajax was also close by. ”

Kanhai also played a major role in the transfers of David Neres and Giovanni to Amsterdam. Both are players of Bertolucci Sports, for which Taran works. “Partly thanks to the prominent position of Julio Taran and Bertolucci Sports in Brazil and our frequent, direct contact with the clubs, this deal was made by Antony. And I am proud of it, because it is a unique deal.”

“Ajax has again managed to get a player from the outside category, who otherwise would have gone directly to a top club in Europe,” says Kanhai.
