Since the professional team in Carmel understands that it is difficult to land new foreign players in Israel since it is a red country, it was decided to try and reach an equal valley with the player who played for the club a season ago and was released from Sparta Prague.
As you may recall, Mendzak received an offer of a quarter of a million euros per season on a two-year contract. At the beginning of the negotiations, the player demanded 400,000 euros for one season, but now understands that due to the Corona crisis he will have a hard time finding teams that will pay such a salary and will have to compromise.
Mendzak joined Maccabi Haifa in the summer of 2018 on loan from Sparta Prague, and recorded 32 games in the media, in which he scored five goals and scored one more. At the end of last season, he said goodbye to the Greens, but since then he has often been linked as a candidate to return to the team from Carmel.
