Officially parted. Maccabi Tel Aviv announced that Andre Geralds and Chico Opuado will not continue with the team in the 20/21 season. The first ended his contract and it was decided not to extend it, while the defender returned to Sporting Lisbon after being loaned to the Yellows for one season.

Opuodo came to Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2018 as a free agent from the Turkish Eskisrispor and was a partner in winning two championships, the Toto Cup and the title of champion.

Geralds recorded a total of one season in the yellow, in which he scored 3 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions and was one of the standouts in the defensive squad that broke non-absorption records and won a second consecutive championship.

Jair Amador, who returns on a yellow card contract for another season, is also set to leave this summer and return to Spain after two successful years.

Four days before the Champions League meeting against Hapoel Beer Sheva, Maccabi Tel Aviv’s squad has only four foreigners: Enrique Saborit, Andreas Janiotis, Orosh Nikolic and Eduardo Guerrero.
