Mysteryland is organizing an online festival at the end of August where artists perform from a hot air balloon, the organization of the dance festival announced on Thursday.
Paul van Dyk, Joris Voorn, Lucas & Steve and Sander van Doorn, among others, are on the artist list of the digital festival, which can be followed for free on August 29 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. via the official channels of Mysteryland.
During the online edition, more than fifty artists can be followed from hot air balloons via eight different stages. Viewers can choose from the eight channels themselves.
Mysteryland normally takes place at the end of August on the former Floriade site in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, but due to the corona crisis, the festival has been canceled this year. Under the leadership of festival director Milan Raven, an alternative interpretation has been sought for months.
“We owe it to our stand and our visitors,” said Raven, who would normally have expected 130,000 visitors to Mysteryland. “That literally succeeded, with the cooperation of a number of great artists.”
