Due to the rapid increase in the number of coronavirus infections, authorities in Moulay Bousselham, a small coastal town to the north of Kenitra, have decided to temporarily close the beaches.

Alyaoum24 reports that the authorities have ordered the closure of the beaches of Moulay Bousselham town and Marja Zarqa.

The magazine writes that the authorities fear an increase in the number of corona infections in the city and want to prevent an influx of tourists and congregations with the closure of the beaches.

Due to the worrying epidemiological situation, Morocco decided on Thursday to extend the sanitary emergency by one month until September 10. Tangier, Tetouan, Fez, Meknes, Casablanca, Berrechid, Settat and Marrakech are still in lockdown.
