Matuidi and Juventus end contract: Beckham is on the fining rope

Blaise Matuidi leaves Juventus. The French midfielder has terminated his contract in concert with La Vecchia Signora, leaving him free to come and go wherever he wants. Inter Miami is listed as his next club.

On the official channels, Juventus reports the departure of Matuidi, who is thanked for services rendered. The Frenchman became champion three times with the club from Turin, won one Italian cup and also one Italian super cup. He has played 113 games for Juve, thanking him for ‘his great dedication’ and wishing Matuidi the best of luck in the future.

Chances are that the midfielder will continue his career with Inter Miami, the MLS club owned by David Beckham. The ambitious Americans want to strengthen the selection and hoped to be able to take over Matuidi from Juventus. That was a bit too expensive, but because the Frenchman has canceled his contract, he can now leave for the United States for free.
