Hundreds of jobs will be lost at WarnerMedia, the parent company of Warner Bros, HBO and HBO Max, following a top-flight restructuring.

In total, Warner Bros. about 650 people are being fired, including Ron Sanders. He was responsible for the worldwide cinema planning of all Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema Movies.

The layoffs are part of a decision by WarnerMedia CEO Jason Killar, who was appointed in May this year, to bring the film and TV productions within the different departments under one administration and to focus on the streaming service HBO Max.
