Standard’s financial problems seem to be a thing of the past. The Latest News reports that the Liège businessman François Fornieri has bought 50 percent from the people of Liège.
Fornieri takes over those 50 percent shares in Bruno Venanzi. He would remain chairman of the Rouches. However, a new Board of Directors would be formed. As said, a big financial boost for Standard, who, like Anderlecht, stood up to their lips with the water.
The businessman Fornieri now seems to change that. With a market value of one billion euros from his company Mithra, active in the pharmaceutical world, he has a lot of capital. In the past, Fornieri was also already mentioned at Anderlecht, but now he chooses the rival and his own city.
