A majority, that is something De Wever and Magnette still have to go for 446 days after the elections, Coens thinks. Although he realizes that this is a very difficult task, given the many contradictions between the parties. “At the moment you can no longer find simple majorities in this country. The cards are in such a way that it becomes a complex majority. ”
When asked about his preference for the liberals or the greens, Coens replies that there is something to be said for both parties. “We like to make the synthesis between the social, the economic and the administrative (…) I think we can talk in many constellations. But we determine what is important to us on the basis of our own guidelines ”, Coens concludes.
