Diario SPORT recently reported that an unnamed Premier League club had as much as € 60 million left for Trincão. Sky Sports let Tuesday know that Leicester City is the club in question: The Foxes would have a rental deal with FC Barcelona, including a purchase option of fifty million euros. Atalanta Bergamo is also in the market for the five-time international of Portugal, according to reports. It is still unclear whether Barcelona wants to involve Trincão in the first team next season.
The attacker, born in Viana do Castelo, made his debut in the 2018/2019 season in the Braga main squad and made his breakthrough last season. Thanks to eight league goals from Trincão, Braga finished fourth in the Primeira Liga and may enter Europe next season.
The English club that is trying to get Francisco Trincão from Barcelona is Leicester.
The first bid was a loan with obligation to buy for €50M total.
Still no agreement with Barça and many clubs interested – but talks are on. Atalanta not in the race atm. 🇵🇹🔵 #LCFC #Barça
