KV Oostende has already moved strongly on the transfer market this summer and that was also necessary after it saw almost its entire core leave transfer-free. The coastal team brought in reinforcements in just about every position and took this week with the arrival of Bram Castro as an experienced reserve goalkeeper.
The arrival of the 37-year-old ex-keeper of KV Mechelen, however, has its consequences, because according to The newspapaer Fabrice Ondoa is therefore allowed to visit other places. The 24-year-old Cameroonian was in 2018 by Hugo Broos – who knew him from the Cameroon national team – from the B-team of Seville, but could never become an unconditional holder.
In recent years he has always been in the balance with William Dutoit and this summer he lost the competition to Guillaume Hubert. Since they prefer to bet on the young Jordy Schelfhout as the third keeper at KVO, Ondoa can now look for other places. He is still under contract with the coastal team until 2022.
POLL: Is it logical that he has to leave KVO?
