Israel Railways continues to develop and upgrade the rail infrastructure throughout the country. As part of the annual maintenance plan, infrastructure works will be carried out for the maintenance, upgrade and replacement of railway components in the area of ​​Ben Gurion Airport.

As part of the operation, changes in train traffic will apply in the area of ​​Ben Gurion Airport, Lod and Modi’in, starting on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 00:01 (the night between Thursday and Friday), until the end of the service on this day, and starting from the resumption of service on Saturday, August 8. .20 until Sunday 9.8.20 at 4:00.

Trains on the Modiin Merkaz-Tel Aviv Savidor Merkaz line will not be operated. Trains on the Beer Sheva Center-Tel Aviv Savidor Center line (passing through the Kiryat Gat, Lehavim Rahat, Mazkeret Batya, Kiryat Malachi Yoav stations) – will begin and end their journey at the Lod station (instead of the Tel Aviv Savidor Center station). Also, on Saturday, August 8, 20, trains on the Jerusalem Navon-Tel Aviv Savidor Center line will not be operated.

Israel Railways will operate a free transportation system between Lod and Tel Aviv Savidor Central stations for the benefit of passengers during operating hours. Public transportation in the area will also be increased. Train traffic will return to normal on Sunday, August 9, 20 at 4:00.
