And on the sticker the intent is for Thomas Tuchel. During one of PSG’s training sessions against Atlanta on Wednesday, the coach was badly injured in the ankle and according to the French media sprained him and even broke one of his toes. This will likely not prevent him from standing on the lines, but he may be less active given the injury.
Tuchel, of course, is PSG’s last concern in terms of injuries because it will have to make do without a host of players in the quarter-finals against Atlanta. Killian Ambape is the most critical of them and has not yet recovered from the injury he suffered in the French Cup final against Saint-Etienne, and is in doubt for a match and will also be joined by Tillo Kahrer, Leiben Korzawa, Mauro Icardi and Marco Varati.
The front of PSG will be particularly sparse and Neymar will be pretty lonely in the campaign in such a situation. Aside from Ambape and Icardi who are in doubt, Angel Di Maria is suspended for yellow card accumulation and Edinson Cavani, along with Eric Maxim Chopo Mouting, has ended a contract and the two will of course not be available for the injured Tuchel.
