The condition of the mother and her 13-year-old daughter, who were hospitalized at Assuta Hospital in Ashdod in a serious condition after being diagnosed with coronavirus, improved significantly.
The two arrived at the hospital about a week ago after suffering from the symptoms of the virus, their condition initially deteriorated but over the weekend it improved.
One of the girls said last week after their condition deteriorated, “They both felt unwell, had a high fever and we immediately feared it was Corona because there were some neighbors who got sick. We have no idea how they got infected. The Ministry of Health defined that they got infected in the community.”
“The father and three other brothers are in isolation and they are feeling well. We pray for their well-being and ask all the people of Israel to pray,” she added.
It should be noted that the city of Ashdod has been defined in recent weeks as a “red” city in light of the spread of the corona plague in the city, but after the spread was halted, the city is no longer defined as such.
