Honda gives itself a big pat on the back after the first training sessions in Great Britain. The engine supplier of Red Bull Racing made some adjustments to the power source for the race at Silverstone and does not yet see a cloud in the sky.

Toyoharu Tanabe tells this after the second free practice in England. “We had made some improvements to the engine so it would run better and it seems to have worked. It was a hot day today (30 degrees Celsius), but our power source worked flawlessly in these conditions, ”said a cheerful Honda technical director.

Lower temperatures are expected for tomorrow, but the Honda engine should not be bothered. “We will adjust the engine using the data we obtained today so that it will perform well tomorrow,” says Tanabe. In addition, it will investigate Alexander Albon’s engine that crashed in FP2. (Photo: Red Bull Content Pool / Getty Images)
