Heerenveen exhibition game canceled: one positive corona test with opponent


The exhibition game between sc Heerenveen and Team VVCS of Tuesday afternoon has been canceled. One of the players of Team VVCS has been tested positive for the corona virus.

Team VVCS announces this via Twitter. The practice game against Heerenveen would actually be finished behind closed doors on Tuesday afternoon in Jubbega. The VVCS team consists of currently unemployed footballers.

This match is therefore canceled, because one of the VVCS footballers has tested positive for the corona virus. The player in question is now in home insulation and on Thursday the entire selection of the VVCS team will be tested again. There is nothing else for Heerenveen than playing a mutual exhibition game. The next game of the team of coach Johnny Jansen is scheduled for Friday afternoon. Then Vitesse is the opponent at half past three in the Abe Lenstra Stadium.
